Social events are a key part of what the YPRA does, and in 2025 these started with the Floral Display Competition, judged at on Saturday 28th June. 

The very next day, Sunday 29th June saw a new event; a joint summer picnic with the Britannia Square Association. This was held in the grounds of RGS Springfield in the centre of Britannia Square. 

The committee are keen to hear from anyone who'd like to help with events or who has ideas for additional events, celebrations, trips, experiences, activities, neighbourly help or fun in general!
